"So easy"

It is so easy staying at The Reef Resort. It's easy to find, easy to check in and easy to stay. Brian and Keiren are always available but you don't see them if you don't need them. They provide a very relaxed New Zealand style to your stay.

The rooms are all well apointed, very clean with great views over the Lake.

No need to look any further if you are using Taupo as a base or a stop over the Reef is the best place to stay.

""Wow" Luxury Galore"

We booked at the recommendation of a friend and found out for ourselves just how wonderful this motel was. The rooms are very modern and extremely clean. The owners were so friendly through our whole stay. The children loved the heated pool and spent alot of time in the pool. My husband and I soaked in the mineral pool which was bliss. The first morning we thought we would order breakfast so as to really get into the holiday mode and wow it was excellent and enough to fill you for the whole day. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this to anyone.

"A beautiful and idillic setting with clean, well serviced rooms."

With a warm reception, beautiful scenery (and weather to match!) The Reef was certainly a fantastic choice of venue to stay for the weekend. We felt like we could have lived in our self contained unit, with lovely balcony, warm pool, sunny and immacate room. We would have been happy to have settled in for a few weeks! Despite the motel being almost full, it was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We felt like we had found ourselves a haven of comfort.

"Excellent accommodation and location!"

We arrived at The Reef Resort without a booking. The owners were so friendly and welcoming showing us through choices of rooms that were available even though we only booked for one night. Rooms are beautiful and well set out, small kitchenette in our room. Very new/top quality and modern furniture etc, large spa. Stunning outlook over the lake and direct access to the lake.
